.: SEVILLA-ESTAMBUL, Spain; Didem Bilgic was born in 1986 in Istanbul. Photography entered her life in 2004, after she enrolled at the 18 Mart Canakkale University faculty of Photography. Aykan Ozener, a mentor, helped nurture her love affair with photography. When she was in her second year she began working for a local newspaper, Gundem in Canakkale. In 2006, when she graduated, she went to Spain with the "Leonardo Da Vinci" program. A project funded by the European Community. Her first personal exposition was in Sevilla, in 2010. She has been to many expositions and seminars in Sevilla, in search of inspiration and to change her point of view towards photography. Didem put her education on hold for 1 year and travelled to many countries. Now she is improving her projects and ideas and working free lance.
